We Remembered, and We Are Defrosting in Florida!

Last Saturday night was a special one indeed!  L5 got the chance once again to participate in a “Remember The Music” concert in Wooster Ohio.  What an incredible time.  Those concerts are always one of our favorite things to do.  It’s always fun being with our friends Greater Vision and the Mark Trammel Quartet, but when you add “the man” Danny Funderburk to the concert and turn them all loose on the second half, singing all the great Cathedral Quartet songs, you are in for an incredible event.  And what better place to do this than Wooster!  What an incredible crowd to sing to, and they were more than ready for the “Remember the Music” tribute.  It was just wonderful.

This week finds us in Florida with 70 degree weather and a stop in Alabama on Sunday night so be sure to check our schedule and see if we are close enough to spend the evening with us.  We have a new Powerpoint presentation that will be playing before our concerts at the venues which are equipped to do so which features some great L5 trivia.  We would love for you to come and check it out.

Our first event in Branson is getting closer and we are so excited about it.  Check out our events page on www.legacyfive.com to get more information about the 3 day event.  It will be an incredible time together.

Be sure to check out our video blog as I will be posting the Trey Ivey questions this week, hopefully Monday.  You all submitted some great questions for Trey and we look forward to sharing his answers.

Here is an interesting bit of info from our fearless leader, Scott Fowler.  I asked Scott to share his concert day routine because so many folks ask what it is like traveling on the bus.  Scott gave us a look into his daily routine:

My Concert Day Routine is:

Wake up between 8 and 9. Stay in my bunk and read a short daily devotional on my iPhone called “Jesus is Calling.” Then I check for any texts and usually open my Fox News app and check the headlines.

9-10 am: Stagger out of bed (I’m slow to wake up) and pour my first of two cups of coffee complete with Hazelnut creamer. I usually check my emails while I drink my coffee.

10-11. I’m in the hotel room between waiting for my turn in the shower.

noon: LUNCHTIME!

1-3 I am usually back on the bus returning calls and emails and taking care of any group business I have to do.

3 PM: We are usually at the church or auditorium setting up and getting ready for the concert.

After the concert, we usually stop and get something to eat. I usually watch some news and am in bed by midnight.

Thanks Scott for giving us that inside look!

Until next time…..

Lucky for you guys for 70 degree weather. This whole week was ordinary Indiana weather, cold, rainy, and gloomy, when just today we got 2 inches of snow. That is a big deal this year because so far, we haven’t had a real winter since about a week after Christmas. But today on our church’s bus and soul winning visitation, I had to walk a whole trailer park to knock on doors. Brrrrr! I like winter, just not from that perspective! Lol but it was worth it to see that so many people wanted to ride the church bus tomorrow morning. :)
Can’t wait to hear the answers to the questions for Trey. Hope to see more great things! Stay safe!

It’s always interesting to see what life is like on ol’ Sunny. I’d sure love to be a part of it just for one weekend to live the experience myself.

So nice to get good reports from your concerts and that you have been able to enjoy some nice weather. Our weather is like a yo-yo this year, Sunday it was -18, today it is supposed to go up to 0.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you all – looking at your schedule it looks like you are going to be able to spend it with your wives. I am sure they will appreciate that. God bless you all.
