Attention folks,
Monday, March 15th, L5 is going in to the studio to record some of your favorite songs. Here’s your chance to order us around and give your opinion of what we should record.
Any song is fair play. Tell your friends to voice their opinions.
Go to work!
Tim Parton

I have wished Greater Vision would do, “When I Get to the End of the Way,” but if L5 is actually interested in suggestions, I think Scott Fowler could do pretty well on it too!

The sands have been washed in the footprints
Of the Stranger on Galilee’s shore;
And the voice that subdued the rough billows
Will be heard in Judea no more,
But the path of that lone Galilean,
With joy I will follow today,
Refrain
And the toils of the road will seem nothing
When I get to the end of the way,
The toils of the road will seem nothing
When I get to the end of the way.
I *love* that song! Thanks for asking for it, Amy. I’d love to see them do that, too. (Though somehow the voice I really hear on the lead vocal is Gerald Wolfe’s!)
Yeah, I hear him or Rodney. Or even Jacob. I have meant to ask him to do it for a couple of years, but I’m lazy and I wasn’t sure it would be effective. I figured I’d give it a shot here anyway; I’ll never get around to emailing Gerald with it!
There are 3 verses to “When I Get to the End of the Way.” All too inspiring to leave out!
I would love to hear “I’m Feeling’ Fine” and “The Plan of Salvation”. (old Cathedrals songs)
He Made a Change
Stay Close to Me
I Stand Redeemed
Truth is Marching On
Are songs you never recorded before fair play? If so:
Empty Tomb Says it All
I Love to Call
What We Needed
Long Black Train
Rainbow of Love
This Could Be the Moment (Dary Petersheim)
One Fine Day
I shall wear a robe and crown
Gentle Shepherd
Come Thou Fount
the old landmark
I am a promise
Be thou my vision
Psalms of victory
I have about five in mind lately that I would love to have you guys record.
1. Come Home (Scott Fowler was featured on this song on the Cats High And Lifted Up CD.
2. I Know A Man Who Can
3. I Can See The Hand
4. Walk With Me (Florida Boys Song)
5. What A Lovely Name
Oooh, I second “Come Home.” Also “Rainbow of Love” from the previous post.
I third that one… Come home is a great song
Oh, I definitely second “Come Home”–that’s the first song I ever remember hearing Scott (F) sing, when he was with the Cats (I was only, like, 9 years old!).
I’d also LOVE to hear L5 do:
-Come Thou Fount
-In Christ Alone
-I’d Rather Have Jesus
-Master Builder
Thanks, Scott, for asking for our opinions–obviously, no one’s short an opinion! : ) lol
Meg
Well, it’s an obscure hymn, but if you’re taking any song, I would suggest “Zion’s Hill.” Of course, I’m suggesting it for purely selfish reasons …
I’d like to hear Tim sing “When the world looks at me”
Okay now for some previously recorded favorites…
somebody sing
forgive
vessel of mercy
In His grip
My, My, My
L5 songs or any song????
God’s Love from Strong in the Strength, been ten years since you have done it, too good a song to forget about!!!!!!!!!!!!
Elvira, always wanted to hear Glen do that one!!!!
I’d like you to record “Amazing Grace” and “That’s What Grace Is For” and “Great is Thy FaithFulness” . Those are my favorite Legacy 5 songs!
Well, if we’re talking about songs you’ve already recorded, I love What Faith Does, Rocking on the Waves, In His Grip, and I Go to the Rock.
If we’re talking about songs you’ve never recorded, maybe you can check out the website http://www.forhisglorypublishing.com. Taunia Henry wrote tons of songs and has made recordings of some of them. I actually sang on one of her non-professional (but still sounds pretty good, if I do say so myself
recordings. The harmonies and styles can by a little unconventional at times, but I would love to hear them orchestrated in Southern Gospel style. Taunia is SO sweet and I’m sure would love to work with you
If Lari Goss is producing, and you can get a magnificently orchestrated version, I’d love to see you do “It is Well With My Soul.”
If it’s a simpler table project, I’d love to see you tackle the old Phil & Carolyn Cross / Nelons song “Medals, Crowns, and Trophies.”
And if you’re mainly going to re-cut old L5 songs, “Not That You Died” is too good to disappear.
Hey! We think alike! I told Scott I wished they would record “It Is Well” when we saw them last month
Yes, but I want them to wait until they have Lari Goss on board so they can do one of his magnificent tracks. That’s why I added that qualifier!
I hadn’t thought of that… I definitely agree! It needs to be on a Goss project
. I get all excited just thinking about it
. lol.
A few more:
A Little Talk With Jesus
The Cross Still Stands (Daryl Petersheim)
I Will Take the Old Highway
In the Beautiful City
“Reach Out To Jesus” is a song that I’ve been dying to hear a quartet do, and I think you all could really do it well. It was written by Ralph Carmichael about 40 years ago. The version most people are familiar with was recorded by Elvis. I’d imagine that the Cathedrals probably fiddled around with it after it got popular, though to my knowledge they didn’t record it.
I’d love to hear you all record this great song… the words are so very appropriate for the days we live in!
Well it looks like your song was chosen
I love that song, and I think a quartet like L5 can really nail it. I hope they give Gus the lead on it…
I saw that… I’m very excited to hear the L5 version! Just a terrific song! Last I heard, the album was supposed to come out around Memorial Day, but I’m guessing the flooding situation might have helped to postpone that. Have you heard if there’s a new release date for the project?
I would personally like you guys to record some hymns that aren’t recorded often like:
Crown him with many Crowns
Fairest Lord Jesus
Praise to the Lord, the Almighty
Yes!!!!!!
God’s Love! A great song and I’d love to hear it again! Strike Up The Band would be great as well. And of course I Stand Redeemed is always a great choice.
The Old Ship of Zion
Sheltered In The Arms of God
He Looked Beyond My Faults & Saw My Needs
I would love to hear you sing At The Cross , Stepping On A Cloud , Come Unto Me, Are You Washed In The Blood . These are just a few suggestions anything you guys sing will be great. Good luck making the cd . GOD Bless.
Wow, good choices, Elaine! Glad you thought of those!
We Shall See Jesus…no one has ever been able to top the Cats on this song, but I bet L5 could hit a homerun with it!
I have been on these guys for a couple of years now to do “We Shall See Jesus”. A couple of the guys said they let that one go when Glen died. I spoke to Scott when he was in Lakewood,Fl. and asked him to record this song and he told me had been thinking about the song for about a month when I mentioned it to him. I feel very strongly that we will see this song sometime in the near future.
Well they announced today that they will be recording “We Shall See Jesus” I am pretty excited!
I am estatic over the choice of “We Shall See Jesus”. I just KNEW that this was coming. Now I can’t wait for the CD and especially the opportunity to FINALLY see the guys perform this song live. I believe this song will be a song that everyone will be looking forward to hearing at every Legacy Five concert in the future.
It may not be a classic, but ministers to me: ‘Storms I Never See’; also, ‘Mercy Built a Bridge’.
Thanks guys!!
All of these suggestions are great, especially Elaine’s three. But my favourite one is Scott singing: “There is Hope” I have one CD with it on.
Whatever you record, I’m sure we’ll enjoy them all.
Legacy Five recorded “There Is Hope” about 3 years ago on their Know So Salvation CD… It is really good!
The I’ve been dying to hear again that I’ve not seen mentioned yet is Scott’s intro song with the Cats “Who Am I”… I LOVE that one!!! I would really love for you guys to re-cut “He Made A Change” since Scott said the original sountrack is a few steps to high. Also “I Believe” (from Strong In The Strength) is one of the best songs you guys have EVER recorded (imo); I’d love to hear that one re-cut too!!
Here’s what Scott’s email said:
“We’re saddlin’ up for a new cd of gospel classics this Monday. Put in your request at our blog…”
I love this sort of table project, sometimes even more than regular releases. The first album that made me sit up and listen to L5 was Heritage vol. 3. I’m ready for another!
I would like you to record “Ive Been Changed” on your new CD. I never tire of hearing this one as it reminds me so much of what it is all about.
The song I’ve been wanting somebody to record again and I think Legacy Five and Scott Fowler would be the best candidates to record is “We Shall See Jesus.”
How about a few songs from Hovie Lister and The Statesmen:
Everybody Will Be Happy Over There
Your First Day In Heaven
Faith Unlocks The Door
A couple from the Cats:
We Shall See Jesus
Movin Up To Gloryland
A couple from GLAD:
Be Ye Glad
The Easter Song
I agree with “Moving up to Gloryland”. I bet Gus will be able to do as good a job on that as Danny Funderburk. That was always one of my favorite songs that Cats did.
I would love to hear “I Believe” again. That was my favorite song the first time we saw L5!
I also liked “We Have Won” off of one of Scott’s solo projects.
Is that Wedding Music
Sinner saved by grace
What about these all time faviorites
A little talk with Jesus
Mary did you know
Blessed assurance
Because He lives
Moving up to gloryland
I have so many favorite songs of L5 that I have a hard time picking some for then to record but here goes
One Thing God Can’t Do
My Soul Is Firmly Anchored
Joy
But God
It’s the Truth
Don’t Be Afraid
I Stand Redeemed
I’ve Been Changed
Peace (When I Leave It In Your
Hands).
Where No One Stands Alone
These songs all have a special meaning to me in that they spoke to me at differents times of my life stormy and calm.
1. This ole House with O When the Saints
2. Never Before, Never Again
3. Search Me
4. Mansion over the Hilltop
5. Strong in the Strength
6. Home Free (from the London project)
Here are some songs that have meant alot to me and are my favorites of L5. I would love to hear them again:
Where No One Stands Alone, I Stand Redeemed, But God, I’ve Been Changed, Peace(When I Leave It In Your Hands), It Is The Truth, Joy, Don’t Be Afraid, When the World Looks At Me, One Thing God Can’t Do, My Soul Is Firmly Anchored, When They Found Nothing
Would really enjoy L5 recording I’m Redeemed by Love Divine – whenever I need a lift, I think of what a blessing that “Christ is mine”
Hey Guys,
If I was the manager of the next big project this is what I would do (and you have to follow the rules to a “t”, as they say).
1. Each member must pick out 4 songs that have special meaning to them. This will be a 20 song CD.
2. The songs that each member selects can either be sung by themselves or another member of the group can sing it, but either way… everyone will join in on the chorus for the songs.
3. I would share inside the CD cover a testimonial of why that song is special to the member who selected it.
This is the start, and if you want me to elaborate more, let me know.
Thanks and God Bless!
Chris Perdue
I can’t narrow it down to just 4 — I love so many of them!
I’ll Be There
Temporary Tomb
Truth Is Marching On
What Faith Does
Step Into The Water
Monuments
I would love to hear Scott Fowler sing “We Shall See Jesus.”
I second that!
You all have mentioned some great songs… Hope we can get a couple more in here: From the Cats
High & Lifted Up
Can He, Could He, Would He
Suppertime ( maybe a duet w/George Younce & Glenn)
Remake some oldies like some mentioned above would be good for us:
What a Lovely Name ( Happy Goodmans )
Medals, Crowns & Trophies ( Nelons )
Let the Redeemed Say So ( Nelons )
God Bless the USA; America, the Beautiful, etc…
Well, I’m sure I could sit up all night, but…. guess you’ll just have to email me if you would like some more suggestions.
Ok, here’s a few songs I would love to hear y’all sing…
1.Wedding Music(old Cats song)
lol)
2.It is Well With My Soul
3.I Can See The Hand
4.I Believe
5.He Made A Change( I REALLY wish you guys would re record this song!!! hint hint
I would love to have these on one cd
What Faith Does
I ‘ve Been Changed
Because He Lives
I found Grace
Just Stand
Thats what Grace is for
and of course Peace
We would like for you to record all the old, but the best loved hymns. We also wished you would feature Scott H. a whole lot more. He is a great baritone, and the songs he has been featured on have been our #1 favorites that have really spoke to our hearts. Scott H. is not featured enough on your albums.
It is Well With my Soul
Wonderful Grace of Jesus
Turn Your Eyes upon Jesus
When the Roll is Called up Yonder
And Can it Be
On Christ the Solid Rock
O Come all Ye Faithful
I’ll Fly Away
Amazing Grace
At the Cross
In the Garden
At Calvary
Beulah Land
The Old Rugged Cross
Be thou My Vision
Great is Thy Faithfulness
What a friend we have in Jesus
There is Power in the Blood
I need thee every hour
His Eye is on the Sparrow
Softly and Tenderly
This is just some oldies that come to mind. Our church generation is no longer familiar with these songs. We are thankful to be members of a church that continues singing and teaching these beloved hymns to our younger generation. L5 can be a great testimony for continuing our beloved hymns.
I agree with “Never before, Never again.” Would love to hear Scott do that again.
Movin’ Up To Gloryland
Faith Unlocks The Door
Blessed Assurance
I could list many more but these are favorites of mine. I like most of the ones already suggested so I’m sure whatever you select , the recording will be GREAT!!!
Little song from the Cathedrals “Next Time We Meet”
Cathedrals “Next Time We Meet”
I have a couple songs that haven’t been published, but I’d like to hear “I Enjoy the Trip”.
There are alot of good ones above… I would love see you guys tackle these songs…
We Shall See Jesus
Never Before Never Again
Little David (Doves and Triumphant have recently did this one)
I Can Pray
He Chose The Tree
I Am Loved
Sinner Saved By Grace
Turn Your Back
Welcome To Heaven
What A Beautiful Day
Happy Rythm
Trying To Get A Glimpse
That’s alot of songs, but I would to see one or more of those recorded by L5…
There have been some great songs mentioned, but I think Gus would knock the song “One Holy Lamb”(written by Phil Cross) out of the ballpark! Also would love to see you guys re-record “God’s Love” And “I Believe” From the “Strength” album… And “He’s Been There” from the Heroes album… Those songs are to good not to be sung by you guys! Also agree with Daniel Mount about “Not That You Died” and also another from the Monuments project “Unless” Which I feel was the best song not sent to radio on that whole album…
I agree on “One Holy Lamb” Gus would be awesome on that song!
I’d love to hear
Softly and Tenderly
Don’t Be Afraid
‘Tis Marvelous and Wonderful
Stay Close to Me
It is Well with my Soul
I Found Grace
Strong in the Strength
I’m Redeemed
Jesus Saves
But God
When the World Looks at Me (I never tire of this song – it has profound meaning for me)
‘Great is Thy Faithfulness’ is one of the most beautiful songs that you have ever recorded.
I’ll be happy with whatever is chosen. Legacy Five’s music is always a blessing to me.
A Couple that I would like to see is:
From the recording you guys did at the palace is: We’ll Soon Be Done
He Made a Change
You’d Better Run.
A Couple of Other ones:
Somebody Sing
Walk With Me
I’ve Been Changed
Not that you died
Really Enjoy your guys singing, hope to see you guys back in Arizona some time soon.
For whatever reason, my comments won’t post. I’ll try it again.
1. I’ll Be There
2. Temporary Tomb
3. What Faith Does
4. Truth Goes Marching On
5. Step Into the Water
I also agree with an earlier post that our generation does not know enough of the old hymns. So many good hymns were listed. I’d like to add one more:
Holy, Holy, Holy
Holy Holy Holy is a song that L5 could really nail! It would make a great opening song for this project! Or they could “Holy Is Thy Name” again!
I believe the Stamps/Masters Five (?) recorded this one, and I’m not sure of the exact title, but I believe it was something like “Roll on Jordan”. JD Sumner had the bass lead in the chorus….Glenn could do it well.
Also, there’s an old hymn, “God Himself Is With Us”, which I believe could lend itself to a powerful acappella version, possibly as a concert opener…sorry, Tim.
I would like to hear somebody do the song with “Roll on Jordan.” I’ve heard that woven into a couple of songs, one by the Kingsmen & one by Mercy’s Mark, but I’ve never heard the original!
I agree with an acapella song — but 5-part acapella with Tim — similar to the group GLAD. Think it would be a great sound for L5,
Well, for the last several years I’ve wanted to hear you guys do “I’d Rather Have Jesus” with Glenn doing the verses (or at least one of them) solo. (That’d sound soo good!) It’s an old song but I requested it one time at a concert and Scott F. said he didn’t know it–so you may have to hunt through some old books to find it!
Another choice would be a song that my Dad’s been singing lately–”I’m Nearer Home”. (It’s the one that goes, ‘I’m nearer home then I was yesterday…’.) I could only find the words one place on the internet, but I found it on a couple of places where apparently it’s on a Vestal Goodman CD. I haven’t heard the CD so I don’t know if it’s the right song or not.
Looking forward to hearing the new CD!
Oh, you Gotta do “We shall see Jesus” & “Search me oh God” and you could throw in an accapella version of “Children go where I send thee” like Scott did with The Cathedrals
I think it would be really neat if you could do “Don’t it make You Want to go home.” We have a tape from when the Cathedrals used to sing it and I love that song. Also “Truth is Marching On.”
“He’s Been There,” is one that needs to be brought back!
Totally agree Aaron! Gus has the voice that fits that song perfectly!
I know someone mentioned in a newsletter right after Roger went home, that the songs Roger sang on, they didn’t want to (ever) or didn’t want to (for a while), perform those songs. I believe the reasoning was that they wanted to keep those songs as they are. In which, I agree and understand.
You are always safe pulling out a good ol’ hymnal!
Another thing you all could do is learn how to sing the shape notes (do-re-mi’s).
Pingback: Saturday News and Notes « Nate's Southern Gospel Ponderings
I am sure you having a great time weeding through all these suggestions but I am going to add to the confusion.
But God
I Stand Redeemed
Peace (When I Leave It In Your hands)
Where No One Stands Alone
My Jesus Knows Just What I need
The Eastern Gate (I Will Meet You In The Morning)
He Is Here
Wedding Music
What A Happy Day
We Shall See Jesus
I’d Rather Have Jesus
I know you guys would do a super duper job on all of these songs. Go for it guys.
Here’s one that is just your style —-
Walk Around Me Jesus
Would especially like to hear
It is Well With My Soul
also,
Movin’ Up To Gloryland
Knowing You’ll Be There (makes it easy to go home)
Step Into the Water
Would especially like to hear
It is Well With My Soul
also,
Movin’ Up to Gloryland
Knowing You’ll Be There (makes it easy to go home)
Step Into the Water
The songs I mentioned earlier were songs that L5 had not ever recorded… But if formerly recorded songs are in order. I would love to see you guys bring back:
God’s Love- Too good of a song to be forgotten
I Believe- See above
He’s Been There- One of my all time favorite L5 songs. Gus would knock it out of the park!
I Am Committed
Not That You Died
Unless
And two more songs you have never recorded
One Holy Lamb- Perfect song for Gus
We Shall See Jesus- This song needs to be brought back!
I am Committed is actually “Committed to the Cause Of Christ.” Best song you guys never sent to radio! WOW what a song!
I agree with Nate –
“Committed to the Cause of Christ” is a MUST for the next CD!
DITTO on “Wedding Music”… I would really love to have a QT recording of Kirk Talley’s “He is Here.”
JEB
I agree on “He Is Here.” The Gaither Vocal Band is putting that song on their next album… L5 could do a great job on it as well!
I definitely agree “Committed to the cause of Christ” is one of my favorite L5 songs. I can’t believe Scott had never heard of ” I’d Rather Have Jesus” , that is one of my favorite songs to sing as a solo. There are so many good songs mentioned on here. I wish they could record every single one of them. I love L5 music.
I would bet Scott had heard the song, but did not know all of the words on the spot….
You are probably right I didn’t mean to make it sound like I was criticizing him . It is an older song.
Yeah–I’m sure Scott had alot on his mind at that concert anyway because Roger wasn’t there (his mom had just died) and Tony was traveling with them filing in (before they hired him).
Wedding Music
Sinner Saved by Grace
song-”Don’t It Make You Wanna Go Home”
A Cathedral song from their 1991 recording.
I was just listening to that cassette and thought, “That’d be a good one for L5 to re-do”
You all’s music is ALWAYS a great encouragment to our family. THANKS!!!!!!
That is a great song! I also love the song off of that recording “There Is A Haven” Glenn would tear it up!
1. There is a Fountain
2. How Great Thou Art
3. Revive Us Again
4. I’d Rather Have Jesus
5. This Old House
6. For What Earthly Reason
7. Sin Will Take You Farther
Danny Funderburk used to do a song with the Cathedrals called “Poets Song” it was beautiful, and I’ve never heard anyone else sing it.
“Old convention song” & “Next time we meet” are also great…. Oh! And “Gospel Plow” & “Mender of broken wings” lol luv ya Scott!
“For What Earthly Reason” or you could do a huge balled version of “Via Delarosa” Tim could tear it up on the piano like Dino and I hear alot of melody (without the harmonies) in there! The words will just make ya weap!
“I’ve already won the war” a powerful song recorded in the 1980′s by Rusty Goodman.
“God’s wonderful people” written by Lanny Wolfe.
“More than wonderful” written by Lanny Wolfe.
“What a precious friend is He” written by Henry Slaughter (I think).
Sinner saved by grace, it is such a moving song when I hear it on Cathedral’s Farewell Celebration. Also would like to hear He is here.
1.Life’s Railway to Heaven
2.This Ole House
3. Suppertime
4. Will the circle be unbroken
Had It Not Been
It Took a Miracle. This is such a beautiful song and certainly explains the Power of our Savior. Anyone can grasp it. I have wanted to ask you to put it on one of your CD’s and it just slips my mind when I see you. Thanks, Carol
I’ve been playing that one on the piano recently and I agree that it would be a good choice. It doesn’t really strike me as a “quartet song” (more of a ballad-solo kind), but it has some neat chord arranging.
I love the song “While Ages Roll” & the hymn “The Old Rugged Cross”
I’m Abandoned To The Captain
Were It Not For Grace
I’d love for you to record “I Find No Fault In Him”. It was recorded years ago, back in the early 70s I think, by the Downings. It is a beautiful song.
92 comments…how long are you guys going to be in the studio tomorrow?!
Well they are in the studio right now! I am sure they quite the time wading through this looking for just the right songs…
“Back to Bethel”!!
We fly the stars and stripes of this great nation, & the world looks on us as a christian race, our four fathers fought and died to give us freedom but we’ve fails to take a stand and lost our place
So let us go back to bethel one more time, let the light of Jesus in us rise and shine, give us peace the world around let us stand on Holy ground, let us go back to Bethel one more time.
Now the world is falling off of it’s foundation, with it’s standards being lowered every day, let us find the old time path and walk there in them, if we don’t I’m sure that judgements on it’s way!
I agree with so many others. L5 must bring back “We Shall See Jesus”. Scott can definitely pull it off. Maybe with a recording of Glen singing the second verse with Scott harmonizing?
Also, how ’bout Glen tearin’ up the ultra low bass notes of “God’s Building a Church”?
My idea list:
I Enjoy the Trip
My Lord Will Send a Moses
Whiter Than Snow
Keeper of the Well
Poor Rich Man
When Jesus Comes in the Clouds
Rise Again
Jesus Use Me
I’m Going Up (When I Die)
I’m One of His Own
Touring That City
King Jesus
Shinin’ In
Hallelujah Meetin’
Too Many Times
Campmeetin’ Days
I’m Not Perfect (Just Forgiven)
Midnight Cry
Standing in the Ashes
Gonna Move
Free Indeed
Movin’ Up
Right on Time
Pearly Gates
He’s the God of the Living
Ain’t God Good
There’s Power in the Blood
My Answer Is Yes
Song in My Heart (great song by the Cunningham Sister’s from Salem, Oregon)
Keep Running On (another great song by them)
What a Happy Day
Reunion in Heaven
I Think I’ll Read It Again
When I Get Carried Away
What We Needed
My God Sent an Angel
Is There Not a Cause
Glory Road
There’s a Higher Power
All the Glory (Belongs to Jesus)
Father This One’s Mine
There’s probably more than I can count, but there’s still a plethora of them. I’d record many of them, but I’m in the Pacific NorthWET (emphasis on “wet”), and Southern Gospel isn’t that big up here. Meaning, there’s not a lot of people with that talent. Plus, I’m a quartet man.
This one is from Mildred…her all time favorite “Have Thine Own Way Lord”. I am going to add a couple of my favorties as well: We Shall See Jesus, I Stand redeemed, Peace…and a new one that Tim presented at our Christmas Concert, Special Delivery! Tim you really did a great job on that and it has such a beautiful story! Looking forward to your choices as i will not be easy. One thing for sure whatever you choose it will be GREAT!
An old song I recall the Stamps Quartet did years ago with Richard Sterban singing bass (Early 1970′s), “I’m Gonna Serve The Lord Today” I think that would be a great song for Glen. Would love to hear it recorded again.
I hope you guys are having a blast recording! Here is one more great song for you… How about the cathedrals song off of their last album Faithful. The song is “Saved Saved.” I love that song you guys would be awesome on it!
One more…”All In God’s Own Time”…by the Cats.
Oh this is a great song… All I gods own time. I totally agree!
I know you are in the studio, but I’m adding one more. I cannot get this song out of my head:
Climbing Jacob’s Ladder
On the Jericho road
Sinner saved by grace
Here’s my suggestion:
FEATURE YOUR TENOR. He’s your singer.
A very happy lively song. With lots happy music.
Hey, I have a question… What will the project be called? “By Request”?
I would bet that will not be the name of the new CD… They already have that compilation set of three CD’s in a box set called By Request. But who knows what Fowler will do… I will ask them next month in Danville…
I didn’t think it would be that either, for the same reason! lol. I suppose they could go with the usual “Gospel Classics” type of title… but some how I doubt it. Like you said, there’s no tellin’!
I’ll be watching for your reports! lol.
i would just like the chords to the song faithful to the cross I would like to play it for my congregation, I have looked everywhere with no luck, any help would be appreciated thanks.
I would love to hear them do Champion of Love (along with Greater Vision.)
